Naming A Hill Forest Hotel

Hi All,

I am trying to name a hill forest resort/hotel.

The location is in a quaint hill station, kamy.

The setting is hills and from where you stay you have a view of the forest.

It will be easy on the eye, cottages, green, water bodies - not a blob of concrete.

It will cater to the middle-upper income earners.

It is located in India.

I think it would be good to include the city name in the hotel. e.g. Crowne Plaza New Jersey

I want the hotel name to reflect the offering - a quiet getaway in the hills with a view of the forest, undisturbed, walking trails, comfortable, homely.

I came up with:

a) Casa de Kamy ( the language may confuse customers, we are not in Europe so Casa may not be understood.
b) Forest Retreat Kamy (works but makes me feel like I have no imagination)

    Phil,

    I like Kamy Forest View Hotel ( or resort). The length of the name bothers me a bit, what do you think?

    I guess most folks wpuld drop the city and refer to it as Forest View Resort.

    Or "Forest View Resort - Kami" implying that there are other Forest View Resorts in other locations. Then you can develop a logo for "Forest View Resort" (only) and simply use the "Kami" designation when you actually spell out the name, or as part of a tagline (e.g., "Kami's Premiere Nature Retreat").

    I think it depends on your target market. If it's the US, you may want to use a larger city name.

    If you get too creative (Kami Kottage) you can lose people who might be concerned about lack of amenities.
